The Kapital boys - Barry O’Connell and Brad Charters - present Michael Mayer at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh, Scotland

The private viewing of the Spring at the Smokehouse exhibition was last night and it was a great success. To finally see everyone’s installation all together was amazing. It was also an overwhelming feeling to watch people take the time to look at mine. Thank you Art Catcher for the opportunity to let me be a part of this. I am forever grateful.

Last Saturday my art piece for the “Spring at the Smokehouse” exhibition, held by Art Catcher, was packed and ready for delivery. A sense of achievement has come over me.

After our visit to Whistler our next stop was my old stomping ground, Big White Ski Resort; located near Kelowna, BC, Canada. I did a season there 2005/06 and for me it was the most magical place in the world. To go back again reaffirmed these feelings; I forgotten how good the snow was. I would rave on about the heroic, champagne powder to my other half, who would not truly understand what I meant. Now he does! If you don’t, then go experience it yourself.
